TiC Reinforced Wear Liners by Canadian Innovative Materials
A New Generation of Wear Technology

Canadian Innovative Materials has developed TiC reinforced Chrome White Iron (CWI) brazed liners designed for applications where exceptional abrasion resistance and long service life are critical.
By reinforcing CWI with Titanium Carbide, CIM combines the proven wear resistance of Chrome White Iron with an even harder, highly wear resistant phase in areas that need it most. CIM’s TiC reinforced CWI technology allows us to manufacture wear liners with localized reinforcement beyond what conventional CWI alone can provide.
This results in exceptional abrasion resistance, extended equipment life, and more application possibilities. For applications exposed to continuous sliding abrasion, erosive wear, and aggressive material flow, this provides another level of protection where service life matters most.
Large dimensions shouldn’t mean compromising on wear performance.
With advanced brazing capabilities and extensive experience in carbide wear technologies, CIM continues to expand the limits to what is possible with CWI liners. Large format brazed liners allow TiC CWI to be used for large dimensions. When conventional wear materials are not lasting long enough, CIM can engineer unique solutions for specific wear applications.
