CIMPlate™:
Reliable, Longer Lasting, Crack-Free CCO

In mining and oil sands operations, CCO liners face some of the harshest wear conditions in the industry. At Canadian Innovative Materials, CIMPlate™ Pump Box Liners are engineered for superior wear resistance and extended service life. Our proprietary hybrid CCO matrix and advanced modified submerged arc welding process delivers consistent, high integrity overlays with improved wear performance. Resulting in thicker and more reliable overlays.

Additionally, with our innovative post weld heat treatment, CIM produces crack free wear plates with overlay thicknesses up to 25 mm in a single pass, compared to 6-9mm for traditional CCO. A capability that sets CIMPlate™ apart from conventional CCO technologies. The result is a smoother, tougher, and more versatile wear liner that consistently outperforms traditional CCO solutions in high abrasion service conditions.

In one major oil sands application, CIMPlate™ pump box liners processed hundreds of millions of tons of material while maintaining minimal wear. Having double the service life of standard CCO liners. Requiring replacements every two years instead of annually.
